John K. Jones earned his medical degree from Kings College, London, U.K. After graduation, he subsequently completed a general surgery residency
at St. James Hospital, London and a general surgery residency at St. Mary Abbots and Charing Cross Hospital, London. In addition, Dr. Jones completed an otolaryngology
residency at Toronto General Hospital, Toronto, Canada and an otolaryngology internship at the University of London in Surrey, England. He is licensed to practice in
the United Kingdom, Canada and in the state of Texas.
Dr. Jones serves as a clinical assistant professor for the Baylor College of Medicine's Department of Otolaryngology. In addition to his teaching
and research responsibilities, he has given numerous presentations and been widely published. Dr. Jones was honored by the American Academy of Otolaryngology
- Head and Neck Surgery in 1995. His hospital privileges include Texas Children's Hospital, St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital and Doctors' Surgical Center.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and American College of Surgeons. Dr. Jones's
other professional memberships include the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Galveston County Medical
Association, American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Houston Society of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Society of Ear, Nose and Throat
