James Albright earned his medical degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after graduating from Colby
College in Waterville, Main. He completed his general surgery internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, followed by his otolaryngologic residency at
Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Albright completed his training with a fellowship opportunity to study
pediatric otolaryngology at Children's Hospital and Health Center in San Diego, California. He is certified by the American Medical Board of Otolaryngology
and is licensed to practice in the states of Texas, California and Pennsylvania. He is also certified by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration
and is a diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Albright's current hospital privileges include Texas Children's Hospital and Saint Luke's Episcopal Hospital.
His interests cover a broad range of pediatric otolaryngologic disciplines including chronic ear disease, sinonasal problems and disorders of
the head and neck. His work regarding pediatric head and neck cancer has achieved national recognition and has been widely published.
Dr. Albright is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. He is a recipient of the American Society of Pediatric
Otolaryngology's 2001 Charles Ferguson Clinical Research Award. Dr. Albright's professional memberships include the Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Beta Kappa
honors societies and the American Medical Association.
