J. Cary Moorhead graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, Princeton, N.J. before earning his medical degree
from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He went on to complete his medical training with residencies in general surgery and otolaryngology – head and
neck surgery with the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Moorhead is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and is licensed to
practice in the state of Texas.
In addition to conducting numerous scientific lectures and presentations, he also served as the Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital’s Chair
of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery department. Dr. Moorhead’s professional memberships include the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association,
American Medical Association, Houston Society of Otolaryngology and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He is also a Fellow with both the American College of
Surgeons and the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
