Robert W. Sickler earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the Creighton University School of Medicine in 1987. Dr. Sickler continued his medical training by completing a residency in Anesthesiology at the Baylor College of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident, receiving the departments award for the most outstanding graduating resident in 1991. Dr. Sickler then further enhanced his training by completing a subspecialty fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Texas. Following training he served as a Clinical Instructor in both the Departments of Anesthesiology and Orthopedics at the Baylor Collegeof Medicine.

Now in private practice, Dr. Sickler emphasizes a comprehensive approach to a variety of common, and not so common, chronic pain conditions. He maintains privileges at a variety of hospitals throughout greater Houston.

Dr. Sickler is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology as well as all three certifying organizations within the field of Pain Medicine, the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Board of Pain Medicine, and the American Board of Anesthesiology, re-certifying in 2006.
