G. Gary Card graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas in 1967 with a B.S. in Chemistry. He earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine where he also completed a rotating internship and residencies in general surgery and otorhinolaryngology. Upon completion of his medical education, Dr. Card served in the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of Captain and served as a Flight surgeon. He is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. Dr. Card is also certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and has received specialty certification in otorhinolaryngology.

Dr. Card is interested in medical education and is currently a Clinical Instructor of Otolaryngology at Baylor College of Medicine. In addition, he is on the teaching staff of the residency program at Memorial Southwest Hospital.

Dr. Card serves on numerous professional and civic committees, and served four separate terms as Otolaryngology Section chairman at Memorial Southwest Hospital and the Alumni Association of Rice University. He is a volunteer faculty member of the Memorial Hermann Family Practice Residency Program.
